1D style vibes?

Hiii,

So last sunday myself and Zara headed out to see 1D in the flesh. Yep, this is where I'm at- NO REGRETS...anyway we didn't do the whole "queuing up for 12 plus hours" malarky and still had a decent enough spot in the crowd.
Now first off, this was the first time I've ever been to a 1D gig, secondly they're real?!
I've probably been standing to more concerts than I've been sitting so with that in mind, I can definitely say that 1D fans are something else!
I was buzzing for each song considering I hadn't even heard Kiss You live let alone Drag Me Down or any of their current songs so I don't have many pictures because well, I was way too busy enjoying the actual show!

Aside from all that, the guys put on a pretty amazing show thanks to their own skill as well as the atmosphere and the crowd in general (no sadness over a certain someone being missing surprisingly..you may even be able to see a certain poster in these pictures that had someone hung to say about certain someone...) since I've only recently become obsessed with their music and their performances, I can honestly say that the fandom is one of the best parts about it all. During Little Things there was a fan project set up for each night, our night seen fans who were standing holding up signs reading "Go raibh maith agat" which is something I don't think is seen in any otheer fandom to be honest.

With all of this in mind I recreated the outfit I wore that night, because well with all the excitment I kind of forgot to take photos on the night. I planned on getting proper photos but the wheather appeared to think otherwise!  Anyhow, I basically wanted to try and channel their style a little bit but without much effort and without spending a fortune (we don't all have money for ysl, Harold) I did a post on taking style inspiration from Harry which you can catch here!
Now if my Adidas trainers still fitted me it all would have "wrked out" and I would have had a bit more of a Larry vibe (oi oiii) but sure I took the "chonce" anyway. So I've got a funky shirt thats pretty much wide open with some long chains and some pointed shoes for some Harry inspo.
All in all, I dare anyone to go to one of their gigs and not enjoy it..

What would you wear to a concert?

"And baby you're a boat"

So this day was one of the best from the whole trip. We got tickets for a 'barbaque on the beach' boat trip for the day. Now I wasn't always a fan of boats and considering this was the Atlantic ocean we were sailing through, some of us were a little concerned however because you're travelling along the coast the waves aren't that bad at all!

We had an early start getting on our coach at 8am which was free (well, included in the price) this brought us to the Harbor I guess, we got our tickets and hung around until we could board the boat. It roughly fit about 60 people with a reserved area up top that cost a little more. They had breakfast served on board with a amazing array of baguettes and fruit. This was actually served all day as they left a basket inside so it was pretty much a free for all! As well as this they had an open bar, so all drinks were free with the exception of spirits.
Once we reached the private beach we took a speed boat over where they had snorkeling gear, surfboards and goggles for people to use if they wished, there were no beds on the beach but plenty of umbrellas. Within a half an hour they had food ready to be served with a selection of fish, turkey, beef skewers, and prawns alongside salad, crisps and drinks.Watermelon and Pineapple were available for dessert while vegetarians were also catered for.

Overall I would wholeheartedly recommend this trip as one of the best ways of seeing the coast, its a little bit expensive but for what you get its well worth it. We got an incredible boat trip, visited a private beach, went snorkeling and surfing and even got the chance to see dolphins on the way back! Its pretty much got you covered for all sight seeing!

Crossways.

Hola,

So the triumphant vintage blazer makes a come back...I can't remember the last time I wore this coat to be honest, let only the last time it was featured  on the blog. One things for sure I've never worn it on such a nice day!  Before you ask, yes these photos were taken on the same day as one of my last posts and yes I am talking about the weather again...I think at this stage it's obvious most people, particularly Irish people have a habit of talking about the weather constantly! Sure look..

Anyway this was taken a good few weeks ago now and it's safe to say things have changed drastically on the weather front. As I wright this, I am sitting in my room with a mountain of books and study to do while the rain pours down my window as though it had never rained before. Praying for even a bit of that summer glow to come back!

As for the outfit it's self it's pretty much just a quick and simple way to jazz up day wear. Add a pair of heels, maybe throw in a clutch and a good structured jacket and you're good to go!

What's your favorite way to jazz up an outfit?

Gigs.

Vintage shirt// new look shoes

A step back from my better quality photographs but unfortunately on this occasion I had no choice. These pictures were taken at night with nothing but the spotlights I have in my room hence why they've taken a grunge type of style but I find the more you edit the worse they can look, so this is the best I could do!
More, better quality posts coming real soon guys!

Clashin'

The sun has arrived, hooray! Now if it would just stay here that would be great! However it unfortunately didn't , believe or not it was legit snowing a couple of days after this. I have no idea what the Irish weather is doing but it would want to sort itself out.

Anyway, I was heading into town this day so the outfit is pretty chill. The skirt was an absolute bargain that I picked up last summer, the shirt is yearrrss old and the shoes are last season Topshop. Who would have thought navy and black would work so well together? For once, I went for a bold red lip which I don't tend to wear because my teeth aren't the nicest but hey'ho.

What's your favourite lipstick colour?

Fluff.

In a complete different style to my more recent posts, here I have THE most comfortable heels in existence. I was originally planning to go completely bear with my feet and wear them "normally" but it was just so cold I couldn't face taking even these thin socks off! The trousers and top are both Topshop which I think work quite well together. The mix in textures with the roughness of the top and the silky feel of the trousers, they make for an interesting combo.

In an attempt to work with what I have and improve the quality of my photos, I think this worked out pretty well, if I do say so myself! It's an ongoing process that will take time but I'll eventually get there! It's one of my goals for 2015 to have better quality photo's as well as improve the overall standard around here. With such a saturated market it's getting harder and harder for new bloggers to get going. At the same time, I think it's important not to compare. Easier said than done but it's something I think a lot of people fall victim to. Everyone's blog has a different audience, style, genre, opinions! So my aim is to use what I have and make it work!

How are your goals for 2015 holding up so far?

That's so 70s.

Some 70s inspiration that I'm seeing everywhere at the moment and loving it! I will 100% be looking towards this style for summer hauls. From clashing patterns and prints, bell bottom trousers, loose fitting skirts, messy wavy hair to sheer foundation and simple makeup it's safe to say I'll be trying to incorporate as much of this into my wardrobe this season as possible!

As well as this, the Harry Styles style inspiration continues! Sounds confusing....just like my last post I'm still getting outfit inspiration from the man himself. Recently enough, we've seen Harold sporting headscarves alongside his "long hair, don't care" reign.
Not too sure whether I'll actually try this or not myself but we'll see if I can work it as well as Harry!

What do you think of this era in fashion?

Stylin' like Harry Styles.

River Island jacket+boots / Topshop jeans / Vintage Kimono

First time ever trying to get photo's in darkness. With school and everything it's not really possible for me to go out and get pictures early morning so a girls got to do what a girls got to do! So bare with me for the lighting on this one. This outfit was sort of thrown together last minute but I think it works. It's somewhat inspired my Mr Harry Styles.
I love getting inspiration from celebs but I have to say, this is the first time I've ever gotten inspired by a male celebrity let alone a One Direction member! I've just joined Vine and he was one of the first people I followed! It seems that lately all of the boys have been definitely exercising their own style. With nearly every outfit I see on Harry, being a half opened shirt, tight jeans and boots. So there you go. With that said, mine cost no where near the cost of Harry's, naturally but I think it works. I've had these boots for forever now and still find that they can pull off any look. I've always said that you just can't beat a good white shirt!

Do you find inspiration from male celebs?
