Be a good sport.

Hola,

More mixing of pieces. I have been doing this a lot lately in a bid to save cash! Getting the most use out of all my bargains is what I'm all about. What's the point in having pieces you can only wear with one outfit or don't wear enough at all?! Versatile pieces for the win!

Resolutions?

Hellooo,

So it's been a fair while since I've been around here. For multiple reasons, that I won't get into, I wasn't able to get posts up the last month or so and to be frank, it may be slow for another little while from here on out but I'm determined to try my best!

So I'm not one for news years resolutions to be honest. Personally I think if you were really going to do something successfully you would have done it or at least tried already...but hey, you do you!

I'm currently typing this on my phone using my 3G because I don't have wifi! (I know, struggles) but I wanted to get a post up so I did my best to get my mini tripod out and get the grain-iest photos possible. Apologies on that front, this was honestly the best I could do. Gotta' work with what you have, eye?

But I stil keeping things relevant to the Christmas theme I guess..this is an outfit that I would definitely wear on a night out and what better night than New Years Eve! You could throw on a nice shirt to cover up a bit more but still have the lace detail or you could pair this with any sparkle, sequins or glittery top to jazz it up a bit!

On a separate note, thank you to all of you guys for the support over the last year and a bit. I feel like I've a bit more direction for the blog in the coming year so hopefully things will be bigger and better!

P.s HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Bioderma Event.

H&M shoes//River Island trousers//Vintage shirt//Republic blazer

Helloooo,

I'm back! Final exams are finished, done and dusted with school and it's safe to say it's been a bit of an anticlimax. Years of doing the same thing day in day out with the same routine and people....the next few months are going to be a huge change to say the least but on to bigger and better things, eh?!

This photos were taken a few weeks back but it feels like agessss ago now! Myself and Zara  went to the fabulous Bioderma blogger event for their launch here in Ireland! It was macaroons and fancy food galore!
I haven't had the chance to test the sun cream yet thanks to the terribly dull Irish weather so I can't report on that product just yet however I have been loving the primer! It does what any primer should do- blurs out rough textured skin and it makes my makeup stay on for a reasonable amount of time. As for minimising pores I can definitely see the effect but again I don't have large pores so I can't fully comment on that.
The bb cream on the other hand was a bit of a miss. Despite the fact that it's in the shade light it is extremely dark and so didn't match my skin tone but it definitely felt silky smooth which is always a good sign.
Of course the star product is the Micellar water. The praise this product has gotten is phenomenal and I can see why to be fair. It completely lifts off your makeup in one sweep, and when I say one sweep I genuinely mean one sweep! It feels like water(obvs) and isn't irritating at all!
I'll be continuing to use these products over the next few weeks and I'll get a chance to try the sunscreen when I go to Portugal in a few weeks time (Turn up). Now I'm not one for beauty reviews but if I like it enough you'll be seeing a full scale rave around here in a few weeks time!
(Watch this space..)

Crossways.

Hola,

So the triumphant vintage blazer makes a come back...I can't remember the last time I wore this coat to be honest, let only the last time it was featured  on the blog. One things for sure I've never worn it on such a nice day!  Before you ask, yes these photos were taken on the same day as one of my last posts and yes I am talking about the weather again...I think at this stage it's obvious most people, particularly Irish people have a habit of talking about the weather constantly! Sure look..

Anyway this was taken a good few weeks ago now and it's safe to say things have changed drastically on the weather front. As I wright this, I am sitting in my room with a mountain of books and study to do while the rain pours down my window as though it had never rained before. Praying for even a bit of that summer glow to come back!

As for the outfit it's self it's pretty much just a quick and simple way to jazz up day wear. Add a pair of heels, maybe throw in a clutch and a good structured jacket and you're good to go!

What's your favorite way to jazz up an outfit?

Stylin' like Harry Styles.

River Island jacket+boots / Topshop jeans / Vintage Kimono

First time ever trying to get photo's in darkness. With school and everything it's not really possible for me to go out and get pictures early morning so a girls got to do what a girls got to do! So bare with me for the lighting on this one. This outfit was sort of thrown together last minute but I think it works. It's somewhat inspired my Mr Harry Styles.
I love getting inspiration from celebs but I have to say, this is the first time I've ever gotten inspired by a male celebrity let alone a One Direction member! I've just joined Vine and he was one of the first people I followed! It seems that lately all of the boys have been definitely exercising their own style. With nearly every outfit I see on Harry, being a half opened shirt, tight jeans and boots. So there you go. With that said, mine cost no where near the cost of Harry's, naturally but I think it works. I've had these boots for forever now and still find that they can pull off any look. I've always said that you just can't beat a good white shirt!

Do you find inspiration from male celebs?

Graffic.

Trips in to town are always necessary once in a while. This outfit is from a few weeks ago, just when the weather was starting to get chillier. Hence, the big coat. I don't know about you, but I love, love, love Autumn weather. The leaves, and the sun and mist make the perfect backdrop!
The backround here however, was taken at a great little spot with loads of amazing grafeti around. Something I've always noticed about Dublin city is the level of amazing grafeti!

Wool.

Scarf-River Island / Jacket-vintage / Jeans-New look / Shoes-Nike

Yes, I've broken the big wool scarves out and I don't care. I for one, absolutely love winter. So the sooner the colder weather comes the better. This scarf is THE warmest thing I own, it's so heavy and such good quality. If there's one thing I love it's an accessory that adds so much to an outfit. I got this last year during the River Island sale for a €8 bargain, reduced from €20 and you're likely to be seeing much more of it in the coming months and I make no apologies for it!

MishMash

Weird one for today. This was a pretty rushed and spontaneous outfit that was put together last minute. Hence why it's such a random combination. The shirt featured in my last post, which is a staple piece while the trousers are a cheap version of similar ones I seen in Zara. The boots have been flying around all last season and were really popular. I tied my hair up lously and wore minimal jewelery to keep it simple. This was such a comfy outfit to wear when going out especially if you don't want to get too dressed up!

Riverside.

So in an attempt to get more creative with my photos, I visited a much more scenic - minus the vile green, filthy water- canal in my local area. We got there in good time, as there was very few people around and the weather wasn't being completely delusional with the season.
This was just an outfit I wore to a party recently and when I was going out for lunch. The jacket is something really unique. It's from a Wallis sale about 20 years ago! Obviously, I wasn't around 20 years ago, so I robbed it from my Mam. I love the half pink, half white style! It's a big staple piece in my wardrobe at the moment!
In other news, myself and Zara will (hopefully) meet Pixiwoo on their tour when they visit Dublin  on Friday! Follow my Instagram and Twitter for updates!
