Be a good sport.

Hola,

More mixing of pieces. I have been doing this a lot lately in a bid to save cash! Getting the most use out of all my bargains is what I'm all about. What's the point in having pieces you can only wear with one outfit or don't wear enough at all?! Versatile pieces for the win!

Sunset.

//Primark skirt//Topshop top//

Hola,

Yet again I've got another holiday outfit post, at this stage it seems like they're never ending. I tried to get a day and night one for 6 of the 7 days we were there. Having our own villa meant there was no excuse! Obviously the weather was fabulous so it was too good of an opportunity to pass on, to be frank. This outfit was towards the end of the week, we were heading out once again and this was the simplest, nearest outfit to me so I just went with the flow, pretty minimal effort. As much as I love this top it was slightly ichy, probably not the best when worn in the heat even though it was cooler considering it was the evening!  The skirt is from Primark from years back and is for sure,a staple for holidays in the sun.

What's your holiday outfit staple?

Brights.

//Topshop dress//

Hellooo,

Yes I've finally changed the design around here. It's something I've been meaning to do for what seems like forever now but I figured it would be better to wait until I had lots of free time during the summer. While it's not exactly the look I was originally going for, I kind of like it. Sometimes simple over rules everything else. I got this lovely template from KayLuxeDesign

I decided to leave the header and minor details to myself. It took a bit of time and a few cups of coffee but it's finally finished!

Meanwhile, continuing with the holiday series this is again a simple (I'm sensing a theme here..)outfit I wore on one of the first nights out. I hoped to dress it up with detailed necklaces and rings but of course I forgot them didn't I...
The dress is super comfortable and would look fabulous with a pair of lace ups but I guess holiday 30 degree heat does't really permit that does it, ey?!

P.S Excuse the bitch face that will more than likely make another appearance throughout this series, the sun was in my face, #soznotsoz

Sun Rise

Hola,

So Oral exams are over(thank The Lord) and Summer is fast approaching. Unfortunately for me this means the rest of my exams are creeping up on me too! For the next few weeks I may not be as active here but sure look..it's got to be done.
On the plus side however a little glimpse of what is hopefully the summer that's to come, has arrived. These photos were taken a few weeks back when the whether was just glorious. It was the evening time so there was a gorgeous summer glow.
I decided to go for a more chilling look with loose Joggers, and loafers and then I jazzed it up a bit with this sparkled top. I didn't intentionally try to clash with the different tones of green but I think it worked out really well!

What are you looking forward to this summer?

Clashin'

The sun has arrived, hooray! Now if it would just stay here that would be great! However it unfortunately didn't , believe or not it was legit snowing a couple of days after this. I have no idea what the Irish weather is doing but it would want to sort itself out.

Anyway, I was heading into town this day so the outfit is pretty chill. The skirt was an absolute bargain that I picked up last summer, the shirt is yearrrss old and the shoes are last season Topshop. Who would have thought navy and black would work so well together? For once, I went for a bold red lip which I don't tend to wear because my teeth aren't the nicest but hey'ho.

What's your favourite lipstick colour?

Fluff.

In a complete different style to my more recent posts, here I have THE most comfortable heels in existence. I was originally planning to go completely bear with my feet and wear them "normally" but it was just so cold I couldn't face taking even these thin socks off! The trousers and top are both Topshop which I think work quite well together. The mix in textures with the roughness of the top and the silky feel of the trousers, they make for an interesting combo.

In an attempt to work with what I have and improve the quality of my photos, I think this worked out pretty well, if I do say so myself! It's an ongoing process that will take time but I'll eventually get there! It's one of my goals for 2015 to have better quality photo's as well as improve the overall standard around here. With such a saturated market it's getting harder and harder for new bloggers to get going. At the same time, I think it's important not to compare. Easier said than done but it's something I think a lot of people fall victim to. Everyone's blog has a different audience, style, genre, opinions! So my aim is to use what I have and make it work!

How are your goals for 2015 holding up so far?

Stylin' like Harry Styles.

River Island jacket+boots / Topshop jeans / Vintage Kimono

First time ever trying to get photo's in darkness. With school and everything it's not really possible for me to go out and get pictures early morning so a girls got to do what a girls got to do! So bare with me for the lighting on this one. This outfit was sort of thrown together last minute but I think it works. It's somewhat inspired my Mr Harry Styles.
I love getting inspiration from celebs but I have to say, this is the first time I've ever gotten inspired by a male celebrity let alone a One Direction member! I've just joined Vine and he was one of the first people I followed! It seems that lately all of the boys have been definitely exercising their own style. With nearly every outfit I see on Harry, being a half opened shirt, tight jeans and boots. So there you go. With that said, mine cost no where near the cost of Harry's, naturally but I think it works. I've had these boots for forever now and still find that they can pull off any look. I've always said that you just can't beat a good white shirt!

Do you find inspiration from male celebs?

Recents.

I don't usually do these kind of posts but the next few posts are a work in progress at the moment so for now I'm sort of improvising. I've been wandering around the shops lately and have spotted some beaut's that are newish to this season! Everything from 90s throw back's to faux fur, clashing prints, geometric patterns, glitter and sequins galore! I think all this christmas-esque madness has already gone to my head! So much so, that I bought a number of items that I plan to wear during christmas (early I know) and not only that but they're not the usual type of style that I tend to gravitate towards but hey ho'!
Sequins, sparkles, glitter, even animal print have always been something that I've stayed clear of. All that glitter stuff
as always been a bit ott and tacky to me BUT in comes Topshop. The game changer of all game changers.

You can look forward to seeing all these pieces and more in upcoming posts!

London Fashion Week.

And another year rolls by of London Fashion Week without my attendance, sadly. Thanks to school I've been unable to go. However I got invited to Corks Fashion Week so that may be on the horizon for me! We shall see!
So here's my quick rundown of some of my fave looks!

Ashish

I generally not really a sparkle and sequins kind of girl, I find that all too often the pieces can come across as tacky, but this collection. Well. I (and the rest of the world basically) are infatuated with this. It's so fabulous. The fur, the glitter, the sparkles, it's just a glittery fabulousness really.
This collection was designed by British fashion designer Ashish. He took inspiration from none other than Miley Cyrus and Kim K herself! I don't think gingham has ever looked so amazing!

Lou Aslop

This collection is quite different. I love the graffic prints and box shapes. It's a lot more 90s and concentrates on more light layering with shift dresses, fraying and flowing fabrics everywhere!

Flying by.

Yep, it's that time again. Big jumpers, wooly scarves, chunky boots, winter coats. In all honesty, I'm glad. I've always prefered Winter and Autumn trends. Maybe that's because the weather here during summer and winter isn't all the different, but I alway rather the burgundy, dark colours and of coarse -black- of winter.
Another absolute bargain, that hasn't been featured here yet. This coat is ridiculously soft, it legit feels like the lining of an Ugg! If your someone who has never been to a charity or thrift shop, I whole heartedly encourage it! The bargains are far too good to miss out on!
Also, now that school is in full swing, I will be posting once a week and the outfits will more than likely be from a backlog from the month before! X

10y

Graffei at its finest. I've no idea what this means or what it was supposed to mean but hey ho'. The lighting and shade was good so I just went for it. Nothing major to say about the outfit, it's pretty basic. However what is major is my new blog layout. I'm happy enough with it. I'm not very web design savvy(?) but I did the best I could! In other news, this leather jacket as been my go-to for far too long now. I'm on the market for a good duster coat at a reasonable price, so let me know if you know of any!
