Shades of green.

The colour palette of this outfit along with the backdrop reminded me of a forest or woodland hence the title. Everyone knows the story when it comes to Autumn fashion. It's burgundy this, black that-and don't get me wrong I love these colours just as much as the next guy but at the same time, I thought it would be fun to mix it up a little tiny but! This emerald green adds a nice vibrancy to the photo while the fur gilet adds a bit of warmth. Against this backdrop it all looks quite nature-y I suppose.

What's your favorite thing about autumn?

Dior.

I've got to admit I'm not usually one for spending a large amount of money on a single item, particularly with makeup. As far as money goes, I try to get the most out of what I have. Extravagant pieces, whether it be fashion or makeup related, are never usually on my radar, with the exception of this fabulous Dior Lipstick. Beauty related posts are also something that I wouldn't be into that much, as I've mentioned before. However, on the rare occasion that I do find a makeup item that I adore, sometimes they're just too good not to rave about!

This fabulous product has gorgeous deep blue and black packaging with the Christian Dior initials at the top. Let's be honest, the packaging is probably the real reason why I went for this lipstick. As for as the consistency of this product goes, it's not unlike Mac. Having said that, red lipstick and I, don't always see eye to eye. I'm pretty picky with them. Considering I don't have nice teeth anyway and the fact that they're not sparkling white makes me a little weary to wear any pinky, orange, red toned lipstick as it just makes my teeth look worse. So if I do buy a red lipstick, I always look out for blue toned red lippies. This way you're less likely to get that orange-y toned lip colour and is also why I love this lipstick so much!

It's a hefty price, no doubt, but think of it as an investment piece. If you're a lipstick person then why not treat yourself?! It's the perfect look for when you're in a rush! Hassle free!

What's your most expensive beauty item?

Hut.

Bit of a change, for this post on the blog today. I was recently contacted by the lovely people at The Hut Group. They run some wonderful websites that sell everything from make-up, skincare, hair products, nails, diet supplements among others! They kindly sent me some gifts, included beauty and skincare, to review! So without further a due...

The Murad Exfloiating cleanser
This is a brand I hear bloggers bang on about quite a bit. I'm not positive but as far as I know, It's not available here in Ireland without buying online. But lucky the hut group* ship internationally, so no need to fret! This is by far the best skincare product I have and the best exfloiant. It has a milky, creamy consistancy and gentle beads to expfloiant the skin that are in no way harsh on the skin at all. As someone with fairly sensitive skin, I find this product perfect for my skin. It doesn't irritate the skin at all and leaves a smooth, plump feeling to the skin. I can't find any flaws in this product. Oh, also, I love the pump and the size of this bottle,It keeps it hygenic and good value for money too!

Delarom Paris mask
I'm sort of on the fence for this product. I LOVE the smell of it and it does leave the skin feeling super smooth but I just don't know. It doesn't feel like a mask. You apply it to dry skin, leave it for 10-15 minutes and wipe away with cotton wool. Personally, as someone who applies face masks ritually- this just doesn't cut it for me. The idea is handy but for me I love the routine of applying a mask.Applying it, allowing it to dry and then washing it away to reveal smooth skin. With this product the results are brilliant and for anyone looking for a quicker face mask this is perfect!

Daniel Sandler waterproof eyeliner
This brand seems to also be raved about by bloggers. It's good quality makeup for a decent price. The packaging is super profeshional and sleek and the application doesn't fail either! It's creamy and easily applied not to mention it's long lasting staying power. When they say waterproof - they really
mean waterproof! I have ths in the blue colour- which I love it adds a subtle pop of colour to any eye
look.

Rimmel Kate Eyeliner
Ok, so we've all heard of these. They are out a while. Infact, I have the "Auburgene" one, however this one is limited edition! It's in the colour Emereld and the packaging is slightly different. Im not a fan of gel eyeliners to be honest. I find their colour pay off quite bad and they're just generally messy. I do love the colour of this one but sadly, It will more than likely end up at the back of my drawer. Also, I will say that the photos 100% do not do the colour of the products justice, particularly the eyeliners.

Amie Bronzer
This one is in the colour "sun bronzed" and is a loose powder. I've never heard of this brand but after researching them, I found out that they are an all natural brand, are suitable for vegans and vegetarians and don't test their products on animals! Score! To add to that the colour pay off  is great and has the perfect amount of shimmer to it! This product will defianetely me my go-to for a while!

*Thanks again to TheHutGroup for the lovely gifts!

Braided.

And two piercings later, here I am. This is just an outfit from a trip into town with friends. Pretty casual. The weather here hasn't really turned summery (fingers crossed it eventually will..) so I actually wasn't that warm despite the heavy shoes and never ending black.

This top is from river island and is definitely not something you can wear with hot weather. It's made of a really thick almost foamy kind of material..if that makes sense..(I also think the design would make an awesome tattoo!) Anyway the shoes are a staple in my wardrobe and have been worn to the death recently purely for their comfort.. And of coarse the fact that they're black helps. The other alternative that I wear are the famous Topshop slip ons that are all over the place right now.

Current Drugstore Faves.

Decided to do a bit of a beauty post today. Summer holidays have just began so hopefully, I will be able to post a lot more from now on.

Catrice:
This is a brand that doesn't seem to get much attention, but in my opinion is pretty comparable to  it's more expensive counterparts. Others have compared this concealer to being as good as Mac. It covers and hides blemishes really well and blends into the skin naturally while the powder sets any concealer without making it cake your darker.

Kiko:
I spotted this brand while away on a trip in Italy.everything was reasonable priced and looked amazing. However I wasn't able to buy everything so I limited myself to a few items, two of which are the 30 day treatment Mascara and the Kiss balm in Blackberry. Generally I wouldn't be too keen on balms or lipgloss or anything like that, I usually prefer a lipstick or nude lip. However, this
smelled devine! And actually adds a decent amount of colour
particularly for a balm! The mascara does what any mascara is supposed to do. However I would say it lengthens the lashes more then anything.

Maybelline:
This is a great dupe to Mac's paint pots. The consistency is the same and it goes on like a dream. This is in the shade 'on and on bronze' . Personally I think this works great with blue/green eyes!

Italia.

The final place, and the place I stayed in longest was Italy! I went to Venice, Verona, Gardaland,
Lake Garda and our hotel was in Sirmione. Just a heads up that this post will be pretty picture heavy!

Lake Garda view from half way up Monte Baldo

Generally, I wouldn't say that I'm a roller coaster person, but Gardaland definitely had a lot to offer to everyone of all levels and the atmosphere throughout the place is amazing!

Sermione
I would defiantly go back to Sirmione. It's so pretty and there is so many cute shops and amazing Gelato to try.

Venice

Although I loved Venice, I don't think it is somewhere I would stay for more than 3/4 days. I knew it was a very popular tourist place to go but I didn't think it would have been to that extent! However it was beautiful to look at!

Julie's house Verona

Not having a full day to visit Verona was the only thing I didn't enjoy about the trip. Our flight was the same day so we were only there for a few hours. We visited Juliets house based on Shakespeare's Romeo& Juliet. It was also one of like 3 walls that was covered in signatures along with another wall with locks on it. The post box was used to send letters to 'Juliet' !

Review- Garnier Micellar water

I'm not usually one to write beauty reviews as I find there are many fabulous bloggers that do multiple reviews of beauty products, so whenever I need to research a product before I buy it, I simple look it up on bloglovin'(of which you should really follow me on -->) or I google it!
However I felt that this product is one I need to get off my chest. So here I am...

Up until recently I had never heard of "Micellar Water". Whilst reading other blogs, I became intrigued by it, and before you know it I was in my local boots purchasing a bottle! As it states it takes off face, eyes and lips makeup-which is super handy as it means you don't have to buy a separate bottle of eye make-up remover. (And before you think, "yeah but it won't take off my mascara" I can prove you wrong) Despite the fact that it hasn't got as much oil as say, eye makeup remover, it still does the job, without feeling oily or greasy nor does it make your skin feel striped of natural oils, or dry. It genuinely does feel just like water! Think I'm lying? Go on, try it, at around €7 you can't go wrong!

Rimmel London- Kate Moss Matte Lipstick Collection.

Hi everyone, hope you're all well, I decided to do a quick lipstick review as these have been my current 'go to' lipsticks recently.
Im not quite sure how long ago Rimmel released this collection, but i know it's not new. I'm  sure most lipstick lovers have tryed these already and considering they're so cheap i would recommend anyone giving them ago. I got mine from Boots for around €7.00, which I think is pretty descent!

The shades I have are are quite different. One is perfect and light for summer , the other is quite dark and more suited for winter, in my opinion. However I love both equally. I'm someone who just isn't into lipgloss (never have been) so when I seen that this lipstick was matte it was a bonus!

                                            (Left)-101, (Right)-107.

The pigment in both these colours is quite strong. There's also no bad taste with theses lipsticks. Often I find that drugstore lipsticks can have a pretty bad taste, but these are grand. However they do have a fragrance, but I actually like it. For some reason the baby pink lipstick has a stronger smell than the burgundy one! They both smell like typical lipsticks I quess, but the pink lipstick has a hint of sweets off it!

Overall I would recommend these to anyone, even if your not sure weather or not you'd like the matte, just go for it. They are most definatly worth the price! Don't forget to follow!
