Flying by.

Yep, it's that time again. Big jumpers, wooly scarves, chunky boots, winter coats. In all honesty, I'm glad. I've always prefered Winter and Autumn trends. Maybe that's because the weather here during summer and winter isn't all the different, but I alway rather the burgundy, dark colours and of coarse -black- of winter.
Another absolute bargain, that hasn't been featured here yet. This coat is ridiculously soft, it legit feels like the lining of an Ugg! If your someone who has never been to a charity or thrift shop, I whole heartedly encourage it! The bargains are far too good to miss out on!
Also, now that school is in full swing, I will be posting once a week and the outfits will more than likely be from a backlog from the month before! X

Hut.

Bit of a change, for this post on the blog today. I was recently contacted by the lovely people at The Hut Group. They run some wonderful websites that sell everything from make-up, skincare, hair products, nails, diet supplements among others! They kindly sent me some gifts, included beauty and skincare, to review! So without further a due...

The Murad Exfloiating cleanser
This is a brand I hear bloggers bang on about quite a bit. I'm not positive but as far as I know, It's not available here in Ireland without buying online. But lucky the hut group* ship internationally, so no need to fret! This is by far the best skincare product I have and the best exfloiant. It has a milky, creamy consistancy and gentle beads to expfloiant the skin that are in no way harsh on the skin at all. As someone with fairly sensitive skin, I find this product perfect for my skin. It doesn't irritate the skin at all and leaves a smooth, plump feeling to the skin. I can't find any flaws in this product. Oh, also, I love the pump and the size of this bottle,It keeps it hygenic and good value for money too!

Delarom Paris mask
I'm sort of on the fence for this product. I LOVE the smell of it and it does leave the skin feeling super smooth but I just don't know. It doesn't feel like a mask. You apply it to dry skin, leave it for 10-15 minutes and wipe away with cotton wool. Personally, as someone who applies face masks ritually- this just doesn't cut it for me. The idea is handy but for me I love the routine of applying a mask.Applying it, allowing it to dry and then washing it away to reveal smooth skin. With this product the results are brilliant and for anyone looking for a quicker face mask this is perfect!

Daniel Sandler waterproof eyeliner
This brand seems to also be raved about by bloggers. It's good quality makeup for a decent price. The packaging is super profeshional and sleek and the application doesn't fail either! It's creamy and easily applied not to mention it's long lasting staying power. When they say waterproof - they really
mean waterproof! I have ths in the blue colour- which I love it adds a subtle pop of colour to any eye
look.

Rimmel Kate Eyeliner
Ok, so we've all heard of these. They are out a while. Infact, I have the "Auburgene" one, however this one is limited edition! It's in the colour Emereld and the packaging is slightly different. Im not a fan of gel eyeliners to be honest. I find their colour pay off quite bad and they're just generally messy. I do love the colour of this one but sadly, It will more than likely end up at the back of my drawer. Also, I will say that the photos 100% do not do the colour of the products justice, particularly the eyeliners.

Amie Bronzer
This one is in the colour "sun bronzed" and is a loose powder. I've never heard of this brand but after researching them, I found out that they are an all natural brand, are suitable for vegans and vegetarians and don't test their products on animals! Score! To add to that the colour pay off  is great and has the perfect amount of shimmer to it! This product will defianetely me my go-to for a while!

*Thanks again to TheHutGroup for the lovely gifts!

Pixiwoo.

Well, I think it's fair to say that this is a slightly different post to my usual ones. Yesterday myself and Zara got the chance to meet the talented duo of Sam and Nic from Pixiwoo while on their RealTechniques Roadshow. I'm sure you all know Pixiwoo from their fabulous Youtube videos and make-up tutorials.

Speaking as someone whose never been the "fan-girl" type nor have I ever met anyone remotely famous before,( besides Fair City actors, if that counts) let alone an actual meet & greet, I thought I would be calm and chilled for most of it and not get too overwhelmed. However..when you actually meet them, it kind of gets a bit surreal. All of a sudden your in front of these people you've watched on a screen for so long and queued and planned this day and next of all, they're there. You have a minute or two to ask and say whatever you wanted to say to them but of coarse your brain doesn't work like that. Your completely mesmerized by them( and Nic's fabulous two pairs of lashes!) and I know some of you are reading this thinking, oh come on it's not like you've meet President Obama or like Brad Pitt, you're just being dramatic-and I am- but in the moment you really are lost for words.

As someone who watches Youtubers and beauty guru's, I've never been someone to leave nasty comments or gossip online about them, to be honest I don't care enough. If I don't like their video, I'll just leave it and stop watching but that's not to say I don't see the gossiping others do, that in my opinion no matter what their argument, it always boils down to jealousy. Which is why I would whole heartedly recommend seeing even one of your favourite Youtubers at some stage because you definetely see them in a different light. These days trolls are popping up all over the internet and leaving nasty comments everywhere. Meeting these people you watch from a screen, I think, reinforces the fact that they are just humans too. When you watch them from a screen as they sit there with nothing but there head and shoulders on show and a white background, it's easy to judge, we all to it, unknowns to yourself- you're examining them. Meeting these fabulous ladies made me realise that Youtubers are basically ordinary Joe's like ourselves.

Sam and Nic were so welcoming and down to earth, despite they're fame. They gave us a hug , asked us our names and complimented us before getting in a photo and thanking us for coming out! I didn't expect them to be righteous or mean in any way-which they weren't- but at the same time I didn't expect them to be so down to earth either! They were just fabulous really.

Now, onto the outfit! This little number is a recent purchase. The dress I got in the Topshop sale for an absolute steal-10 euro reduced from 56! I don't think I've ever seen such a bargain! Thankfully we got these photo's done before the rain hit.It was a bit chilly hence why I didn't take my jacket off, but the top half of the dress is high neck and scoops down quite a bit at the sides. I'm terrible at descriptions but I'm sure it will feature again anyway!

The whole experience was fantastic and we and a brilliant day out! Have you had the pleasure of meeting Sam & Nic?

Riverside.

So in an attempt to get more creative with my photos, I visited a much more scenic - minus the vile green, filthy water- canal in my local area. We got there in good time, as there was very few people around and the weather wasn't being completely delusional with the season.
This was just an outfit I wore to a party recently and when I was going out for lunch. The jacket is something really unique. It's from a Wallis sale about 20 years ago! Obviously, I wasn't around 20 years ago, so I robbed it from my Mam. I love the half pink, half white style! It's a big staple piece in my wardrobe at the moment!
In other news, myself and Zara will (hopefully) meet Pixiwoo on their tour when they visit Dublin  on Friday! Follow my Instagram and Twitter for updates!

Liebster Award.

I got nominated for the Liebster Award again, and thought I'd better answer the questions this time!

Be sure to follow the lovely ladies who nominated me! Here we go!

 The rules are:
- You must answer all of the questions that have been given to you by the person who nominated you.
- You must link back to the person who nominated you.
- After completing the questions you must nominate 11 bloggers (under 200 followers) and give them 11 questions of your choice.
- You must let your nominees know that they have been nominated and provide a link to your post so they can learn more about it.

My nomination is from Zara , who is a good friend of mine so make sure to check her beauty blog out!

Now on to  the questions:

1.)What's your favourite thing about blogging?
I would say just generally getting to chat to people with similar interests. As cliché as it sounds, it's kind of true. I find it interesting to see what other people personal style or even there view on things from products to controversial topics. Of coarse, I'm sure blogger events are fab too but sadly I haven't had the privilege of attending one!

2.)You can only blog about one thing - what do you choose?
Fashion. An obvious choice but even reading other blogs-I enjoy fashion ones the most. Writing reviews of beauty products I find can tend to be a bit tedious- but that's just me.

3.)Bags or shoes?
100% shoes! I'm sure you can see from my last post- shoes are my weakness. No matter what season, no matter what weather or trend-anything, I will always have multiple shoes on my wishlist!

4.)Who is your favourite Youtuber?
Makeup/beauty wise-I would say Lauren Curtis. She's one of the only youtubers I don't find annoying or that does the same generic stuff as everyone else time and time again. Fashion- idressmyselt or Jenn from clothesencounters

5.)If you could only use one make-up brand for the rest of your life, what brand would it be? Good question, I have no idea! I'm pretty lazy with makeup to be honest so I'll say any drugstore brand or urban decay.

6.)One Direction - yay or nay?
C'mon?! How can you say nay to those faces?

7.)Who's your celebrity crush?
Here we go ok, Zac Efron, James Franco, Dave Franco, Johnny Depp, Tyler Blackburn, Julian Morris,Bradley Cooper, Leonardo di Caprio, Beau Mirchoff, Orlando Bloom, Justin Timberlake..I could go on...

8.)Do you find it difficult to juggle blogging with all of your other commitments?
Pfft good one! Apart from school and such I wouldn't say it's that difficult at least not compared to others,as I mentioned before I'm pretty lazy!

9.)Would you like to blog as a full-time job?
I don't think I would. I think to keep it exciting it should still be a hobby kind of thing. I would like a job alongside it maybe but overall I don't think I would.

10.)What's your favourite Disney film? Easy- Jungle Book.

11.)What's your favourite TV show?
I'd say I have more than one. Pretty Little Liars, OITNB, Awkward, Criminal Minds, Big Bang Theory. Although I would say that PLL and Awkward have started to move down my list a little these days!

Here are my questions:

1.) Who's your absolute favourite blogger?
2.) If you could only have one type of food/dish-what would it be?
3.)Favourite Country you have visited?
4.) What do you hate most about blogging?
5.) What's your number one pet peeve?
6.) Book or Magazine?
7.) What's your favourite TV show?
8.) When did you start blogging?
9.) Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
10.) What do you miss most?
11.) All time favourite brand?
