Mac

Believe it or not, this is my first Mac lipstick. I can definitely say I wish I tried them earlier. The consistency is amazing and they last as long as a lipstick will, in my opinion. I don't think that staying power is a huge factor with lipsticks considering I continually eat and drink when wearing it! I wouldn't expect a lipstick to stay completely intact the whole time. This particular one is called "Morange" which I originally fell in love with on Lauren Curtis Youtube channel "LaurenBeauty". I'll leave a link to her channel below!

It is an amazing orange-ish colour and looks stunning with neutral eyeshadow. For me this was a pretty bold choice. Up untill now, I didn't wear lipstick a lot, if  I did it would be mainly dark colours, so this is a pretty bright colour for me.
My only problem with this lipstick is that you must have relatively white teeth to wear it, well in my opinion. I havent got amazinly white teeth by no means! but i would scrub my teeth like crazy before wearing this lipstick. I feel this applies for all pink/red toned lipsticks. This is probably why i tend to wear dark lipsticks!
I am defiantly open to trying more mac lipsticks though, so any recommendations are welcome!

Marco Polo

Dress,Polo neck+rings-Pennys(Primark)//Boots-River Island//Lipstick- Mac Morange

Just a few bits and bobs I've picked up lately. Since it's starting to get pretty chilly i decided it would be a good idea to get some umber-comfy polo neck jumper, and what better place to pick up these fab basics than  Pennys! They have a tonne in at the moment, along with a 'gizillion' different colours! They're actually pretty good material especially considering the price.( €6 each.. bargain!)

The boots, I featured in my previous post, they're so chunky and add an edge to any outfit. The dress is also another gem from Penny's. It was in the sale reduced to €7, and with the cute daisy print i couldn't resist! Can't wait to style these!

Thanks for stopping by!

Halloweenie.

Coat-Charity shop// Dress-River Island//Tights+Stockings-Pennys(Primark)//
Boots-River Island

So if your not in the Halloween mood yet (what the hell is wrong with you?!) then maybe you can get some last minute inspiration here! Halloween is definintely one of my favorite times of year.Who doesn't want to dress up as some weird zombified creature and get sweets for it?!

Anyway my outfit/costume thing..didn't take very long at all contrary to what i thought. It was my first time doing a proper Halloween makeup look, as i was going to a Halloween party and wanted to make the effort.
All you really need for the makeup is tissue, adhesive(you can use eyelash glue or even non-toxic glue),Berry lipstick,red/purple toned eyeshadows and fake blood. The key to this look is definitely blending.Once you put any eyeshadow on, you should blend it completely so that it really gives the zombified and realistic look.
Just be carefull as to what glue you use, if you use non-toxic glue it's probably best not to wear makeup on underneath it because it won't stick for very long. As for clothes, i went for a kind of creepy doll look but again my main focus was on the makeup.

(Also, has anyone else checked out the google home page, if you haven't do it now!)

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
